Francesco Camarda will make his debut in the match selection for AC Milan on Saturday. Stefano Pioli has called up the fifteen-year-old (!) forward for the home match against Fiorentina.

Pioli has to face Fiorentina without Olivier Giroud (suspended) and Noah Okafor (injured). In his search for a possible replacement, the Italian coach turned to the youth academy, where an immense talent is emerging. Camarda is only fifteen years old but is scoring goals for Milan Under-19.
In thirteen matches, the young forward has contributed seven goals and two assists. Pioli was convinced, but including Camarda in his match selection was not straightforward. Due to his young age, Milan needed permission from the local authorities of Lombardy. This has been granted, leaving nothing to stop Pioli.
Milan cannot afford to drop points against Fiorentina. After twelve Serie A matches, the club, led by Tijjani Reijnders, already trails the leader, Internazionale, by eight points. If Camarda makes his debut, he will surpass Paolo Maldini. The club legend made his debut in 1985 at the age of 16 years, 6 months, and 25 days.
