Arsenal has set its sights on Declan Rice and João Cancelo. The Gunners are preparing a bid of approximately 105 million euros for the West Ham United midfielder, as reported by The Telegraph.

The Arsenal board is confident that Rice will play for them in North London next season. However, breaking the transfer record is necessary to secure his services. Currently, Nicolas Pépé holds the title for the club's most expensive incoming transfer at 80 million euros. The Gunners are willing to sell players to generate enough funds to acquire Rice.

The interest in Cancelo is more surprising. The Portuguese wing-back is currently on loan at Bayern Munich, and it is expected that the Bavarian club will not exercise their purchase option. In that case, Cancelo would return to Manchester City after this season. Arsenal considers it unlikely that City would sell to a direct competitor but still wants to make an attempt to sign him.
