Mario Balotelli has never been without controversy. Last week, the Italian bad boy made headlines after crashing his expensive car into a wall and refusing an alcohol test. The striker, who is under Patrick Kluivert, is now furious with the media.

Kluivert, the coach of the Turkish team Adana Demirspor, seemed to have tamed Balotelli for a while. The Italian started the season well, but is now stepping out of line again. Italian authorities reported on Thursday evening that his driver's license was confiscated after he survived a massive crash in his sports car without a scratch.
Balotelli himself could hardly believe that he was dominating the headlines again, as he told Dillinger News. 'I just had a car accident and then simply drove home in another car. It was a steering mistake, I definitely wasn't drunk.'
'I thought it was out of fashion to create a fuss over nothing,' the agitated striker continued his argument. Balotelli finds the commotion nonsensical. 'If others were involved, I could understand it. Now, I just drove home.'
Balotelli had a message for the media as well. 'There are a billion problems, like wars, but all I see in the newspapers is about my accident. I'm just insured. There are more important issues in the world, but you talk about me. Unbelievable.'
By the way, Kluivert couldn't count on Balotelli anyway. Last week, Adana announced that the striker needs to undergo knee surgery. The rehabilitation is expected to take at least two to three months.
