Andrés Iniesta is reportedly set to leave Vissel Kobe. The match winner of the 2010 World Cup final is said to be playing his last game in the Land of the Rising Sun, in a friendly match against a fitting opponent: Barcelona.

According to the Spanish sports medium Relevo on Tuesday, Andrés Iniesta is reportedly set to leave Vissel Kobe. The match-winner of the 2010 World Cup final would play his last game in the Land of the Rising Sun against an appropriate opponent: Barcelona in a friendly match.

On June 6, the Catalan giant would fly in for a gala match, with which Iniesta would end his Japanese period fittingly. Iniesta arrived at Vissel Kobe at the age of 34 in 2018 and played 133 games for the club. In 2019, he won the Emperor's Cup, Japan's most important cup tournament.

After that exhibition game, which is planned in the national stadium in Tokyo where 80,000 fans can find a seat and which serves as an opportunity for Barça to earn some much-needed cash, Iniesta is not yet finished with football. The midfielder has not decided what he will do and would be open to offers.

Iniesta has an enormous track record in Camp Nou. He defended the colors of Los Culés 674 times, with whom he won a frightening array of trophies. Nine league titles and four Champions League trophies stand out.
