Juventus strengthened their grip on second place in Serie A with a win against Cremonese. Coach Massimiliano Allegri's team won 2-0, taking them three points clear of Inter and four points clear of Lazio in the race for second place.

AC Milan, who are on 61 points, also have a chance to secure one of the top four spots, which would give them the right to play in the Champions League next season. Napoli, with 83 points, have already secured the title.

Nicolò Fagioli scored the first goal shortly after halftime with a hard shot, and Gleison Bremer added the second in the closing stages from the rebound. Cremonese, who are in danger of relegation, saw their chances diminish with the loss.

Paul Pogba started for Juventus after 390 days of rehabilitating a knee injury. However, the Frenchman had to leave the pitch due to another injury after just 23 minutes. Pogba hid his face behind his shirt to conceal his disappointment.
