Thanks to 24 goals, the 26-year-old Martínez is set to become the top scorer of Serie A by a wide margin.

Dusan Vlahovic (sixteen goals) and Victor Osimhen (fifteen goals) are nowhere near the champion's striker. "I have nothing to be jealous of; the numbers and trophies speak for themselves," said Martínez in an extensive interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Martínez's exceptional performance this season has not only made him the leading goal scorer in Serie A but has also solidified his reputation as one of the top strikers in the world. His consistent ability to find the back of the net has been instrumental in Internazionale's success, contributing significantly to their victories and overall standing in the league.

"I feel on the same level as Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland, Robert Lewandowski, and Harry Kane," continued the top scorer. "Some of them have won less than I have. I need to continue working responsibly, as my father taught me, but I can sit at the same table as all these greats." His confidence is backed by his impressive record and the accolades he has garnered throughout his career, which include both domestic and international triumphs.

Next season, Martínez if he stays at Inter will have a new colleague in the forward line in the person of Mehdi Taremi (FC Porto). "We have played against him, and I have seen many of his matches. He is a great striker, very technical, with a different style of play. I think he can be a new Arnautovic because of his ability to push the team forward." Taremi's addition is expected to bring a new dynamic to Inter's attack, potentially making them an even more formidable force in the league and in European competitions.

The World Cup winner is under contract with Inter for another two years. In the summer of 2018, he joined from Racing Club in Argentina for 25 million euros. Since his arrival, Martínez has consistently proven his worth, becoming a crucial player for the team. His journey from Racing Club to becoming one of the top scorers in Europe is a testament to his dedication, talent, and hard work.

With his future at Inter looking promising, fans and analysts alike are eager to see how Martínez will continue to develop and what further successes he will achieve. His ambition and drive suggest that even greater accomplishments are on the horizon, both for him personally and for Internazionale as a team.
