Riyad Mahrez is the next top player to head to Saudi Arabia. The forward is leaving Manchester City for a four-year contract with Al-Ahli.

The almost 33-year-old Mahrez has been playing for Manchester City since 2018 when they paid a little under seventy million euros to Leicester City. Now, the Algerian is reportedly being sold to Al-Ahli for around 35 million euros.
Mahrez played 236 matches for Manchester City, with whom he won the treble last season. He did not feature in the Champions League final against Internazionale, and he also remained on the sidelines during the FA Cup final against Manchester United.
"It has been an honor to play for City," says Mahrez on the club's website. "I've had five fantastic years here, working with incredible players, amazing supporters, and the best manager in the world."
At Al-Ahli, Mahrez will be teammates with Edouard Mendy and Roberto Firmino, who previously made the move from the Premier League to the Saudi Arabian club.
