It has been a summer of restructuring at Paris Saint-Germain. The new manager, Luis Enrique, has started with a significantly refreshed squad. Of the three biggest stars, only Kylian Mbappé has remained.

Lionel Messi left on a free transfer to Inter Miami, and Neymar departed for Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal for ninety million euros. It wasn't just Neymar leaving Paris for the Middle East; Georginio Wijnaldum also signed a contract in Saudi Arabia with Al-Ettifaq, and Marco Verratti and Abdou Diallo moved to Qatari club Al-Arabi.

The sale of Draxler reportedly earns PSG twenty million euros. The total now stands at 179 million euros in transfer fees from Qatar and Saudi Arabia for the French champions this year. Draxler was already loaned out by PSG to Benfica last season. The 58-time German international had a bit-part role in Roger Schmidt's championship-winning team in Lisbon.
