Postecoglou has never before experienced such an injury crisis. Rodrigo Bentancur, Pape Sarr, and Ashley Phillips are the latest additions to the injury list.
Cristian Romero is also not available at the Etihad, serving the last match of his suspension. 'So many injuries in such a short time, I have never seen that,' said Postecoglou at the press conference.
Spurs lost in recent weeks consecutively to Chelsea, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Aston Villa. This does not inspire confidence for the match against City, but manager Pep Guardiola is cautious.
