In the first half, three goals were scored. Tommaso Baldanzi made the first goal of the match, putting Roma ahead with a well-placed shot.

Theo Hernández equalized for AC Milan, bringing the score to 1-1 with a powerful strike. However, just before halftime, Tammy Abraham restored Roma's lead with a precise finish, making it 2-1.

Angeliño extended Roma's lead early in the second half, scoring the 3-1 goal almost ten minutes after the break. This goal gave Roma a comfortable cushion. Despite the setback, Milan's Noah Okafor managed to bring his team back into the game by scoring, reducing the deficit to 3-2 and giving Milan hope of a comeback.

However, Roma responded strongly. Paulo Dybala added another goal, making it 4-2 and further securing Roma's advantage. Sardar Azmoun then sealed the victory with a final goal, bringing the score to 5-2. This comprehensive win highlighted Roma's dominance in the match and showcased their offensive prowess under the guidance of their coach, Daniele De Rossi.

In the second half, Kevin Zeroli replaced Tijjani Reijnders. The Dutch midfielder, who has been called up for the European Championship in Germany, will miss part of the preparation due to his trip with Milan. He is expected to join the national team on June 7, the day after the friendly match against Canada.

National coach Ronald Koeman expressed his frustration with Reijnders' trip to Australia. Koeman would have preferred that Reijnders had not traveled at all, emphasizing the inconvenience it caused to the national team's schedule. "They went to Australia, and we can only call upon those players on June 3," Koeman lamented at a press conference earlier this week. He highlighted the challenges of coordinating preparations with key players being unavailable due to club commitments, which adds an extra layer of complexity to the team's European Championship preparations.
