They are two of the most outspoken strikers of the past decade, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Mario Balotelli are now openly feuding. The Swede started by taunting, and Balotelli's response didn't take long.

Ibrahimovic was a guest at the Festival dello Sport, a sports event organized by La Gazzetta dello Sport. There, he talked about his time at Inter Milan, and former teammate Balotelli quickly came up in conversation. 'If a player is given opportunities to fully utilize their talent and doesn't take them, that's a waste.'
'Balotelli had so many chances, but he squandered them all. He simply threw away his talent. That's the truth.' However, it didn't take long for these words to reach Balotelli himself. He fired back in his own unique way via Instagram. He posted a picture of himself with the Champions League trophy, a prize that Ibrahimovic was never able to capture in his illustrious career.
In the photo, Balotelli tagged Ibrahimovic's account, and the post was accompanied by three heart emojis. Additionally, he also responded to La Gazzetta dello Sport's post with Ibrahimovic's quotes about Balotelli. 'In Manchester, you were scared, I wanted to beat you on the field, a year after we won the Champions League. But Zlatan, I still love you.'
