In an extensive interview with O Globo, Neymar expressed his dissatisfaction with his recent period in Paris. The Brazilian forward referred to it as a toxic work environment.
Alongside Neymar, Lionel Messi also faced criticism at Parc des Princes. Both players were subjected to booing from the fans. "I call them crybabies," Pirès began on Canal Foot.
"As professionals, you should be able to handle the pressure," the 79-time French international continued. "When you play well, you receive praise, and when you don't play well... This comes with the territory. We all face criticism. When I arrived at Arsenal, they said, 'Who is he? He has to replace Overmars, but he's not capable.' I kept working extremely hard and was rewarded for it."
Both Neymar and Messi have since departed PSG. Neymar opted for a lucrative contract with Al-Hilal, while Messi signed an agreement with Inter Miami.
