Jubilaris Salah sees Liverpool's comeback kids display the mentality of a championship team

Mohamed Salah made history on Saturday afternoon by scoring his 200th goal for Liverpool and his 150th in the Premier League, but after the victory over Crystal Palace (1-2), the Egyptian star forward mainly highlighted the resilience of his team.

Liverpool initially had a tough afternoon at Selhurst Park, but fought back to secure their second consecutive away victory, even after Palace forward Jordan Ayew was sent off with a red card.

Salah played a significant role in this turnaround, thereby reaching a milestone. The 31-year-old left-footer is only the fifth player in the club's history to break the 200-goal barrier.

To be in a list with Ian Rush, Roger Hunt, Gordon Hodgson, and Billy Liddell is certainly a fine achievement, but Salah refused to take all the credit after the match. 'The most important thing is that we won the game. That's a great feeling. I'm happy with the record and that we won the match,' Salah told TNT Sports.

With Harvey Elliott scoring after Salah's equalizer, Liverpool now tops the Premier League. Salah believes that a new national title is possible for The Reds. 'I see in this team the mentality to keep fighting until the end. We have six or seven new players, but they learn quickly. We can do something special this year.'

That Liverpool has resilience is evident from the statistics. The team managed by Jürgen Klopp has won five Premier League games after being behind and drawn three, earning a total of eighteen points. In the entire history of the Premier League, The Reds are also the team with by far the most winning goals in the ninetieth minute or later.
