Dirk Kuijt envisions Lutsharel Geertruida and Noa Lang playing for Liverpool in the future. The 43-year-old former international believes that the Feyenoord defender and PSV winger have the qualities to succeed at Anfield.

Between 2006 and 2012, Kuijt himself became a fan favorite at Liverpool with his tireless runs down the right flank. The former Feyenoord striker sees a lot of himself in Geertruida.
'He is a very talented player. And I think he will definitely make the step to a top European team next season,' answered the Katwijk native when asked which Dutch player he hopes Liverpool signs in a conversation with English media.
Geertruida came close to a transfer to RB Leipzig this summer but saw that move fall through at the last moment. Kuijt hopes that Liverpool considers signing the 23-year-old defender. 'He can play in various positions, as a right-back, center-back, and a number 6. And Noa Lang is also one to watch. A fantastic winger. In my opinion, they are ready to take a step up. I hope Liverpool signs at least one of them.'
Gravenberch
On Deadline Day, Liverpool signed another Dutch player, Ryan Gravenberch. The 21-year-old midfielder came from Bayern Munich. Kuijt was immediately enthusiastic when he heard about the interest in Gravenberch. 'He's a very intelligent player. He was incredible at Ajax. I definitely think he fits into Jürgen's (Klopp's) team. I expect a lot from him. Hopefully, he can reach the level we saw at Ajax again. He can keep going and has a lot of quality.'
