It appears that Paris Saint-Germain will be adding two new attackers to their squad in the near future. In addition to Ousmane Dembélé, Gonçalo Ramos is also on the way.
Barcelona coach Xavi confirmed on Wednesday that Dembélé is set for a transfer to Paris. A day later, various foreign media outlets reported that Ramos will follow for around eighty million euros. The 22-year-old striker is expected to join from Benfica.
The transfer of the latter could mean that Benfica will approach Feyenoord. The name of Santiago Giménez has been mentioned several times by the Portuguese champions, who previously did business with the Rotterdam club to secure the signing of Orkun Kökçü.
Ramos scored thirty goals in 64 league matches while wearing the Benfica shirt. In the Champions League, he has four goals in seventeen matches to his name. At PSG, he will be expected to help fill the void left by two world-class attackers. Lionel Messi departed on a free transfer to Inter Miami, while Kylian Mbappé is a persona non grata for not wanting to extend his contract, which expires in 2024.
