Steven Gerrard can forget about the arrival of Jordan Henderson. The new coach of Al-Ettifaq was hoping to convince the Liverpool midfielder of an adventure in Saudi Arabia, but if we are to believe Ben Jacobs, he is not going anywhere.
The British reporter suggests that Henderson wants to remain active in the Premier League in order not to jeopardize, among other things, his participation in the Euro 2024 in Germany.

The Liverpool legend was recently appointed as the new head coach of the Saudi sub-top team and was hoping to entice Henderson to also opt for a lucrative offer.
But if we are to believe Jacobs, Henderson has already made his decision and will remain loyal to Liverpool. The Englishman has a contract with the fifth-placed team from last season's Premier League until the summer of 2025, but he also wants to stay active at the highest level to remain seriously in contention for the European Championship that will be held in Germany next year. Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp will undoubtedly be happy with Henderson's decision. The midfielder is his captain and played in 43 matches last season.
