Alexander Nübel will have the chance to show himself in the Bundesliga next season. Bayern Munich loans the goalkeeper to VfB Stuttgart.

Over the past two seasons, Bayern placed the 26-year-old goalkeeper at AS Monaco. Now, he will spend a year at the club that secured their spot in the Bundesliga through the playoffs.
Previously, Nübel's name was mentioned when Manuel Neuer suffered a serious injury due to a skiing accident. Instead of recalling him from Monaco, Bayern chose to pick up Yann Sommer from Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Nübel arrived as a free transfer from Schalke 04 in the summer of 2020. He already has 47 Bundesliga appearances to his name but wanted to leave due to Neuer's status as the number one goalkeeper. Meanwhile, Yann Sommer seems to be on his way to Internazionale, and it appears that a new goalkeeper is on the way to Bayern. The name of David Raya (Brentford) is prominently circulating in the rumor mill.
