Paul Gladon is embarking on another adventure abroad. The Fortuna Sittard striker has already traveled to Armenia and will soon sign a contract with FC Noah, the country's league leader. With Gladon's imminent departure, Fortuna can now set their sights on Marko Lazetic.
Lazetic is a striker who generated almost five million euros for Red Star Belgrade about a year and a half ago, when they sold him to AC Milan.
The Italians are keen to loan him out, and Fortuna is interested in acquiring the Serbian striker. This was reported by VI last week. In the past year, Lazetic played on loan in Austria.
Now that Gladon, who has been active in Limburg since the beginning of 2022, is on his way out, Fortuna can make progress in the loan deal with Milan. Gladon played 27 matches in the Eredivisie last season, scoring seven times. He had a starting position in the first two league matches of this season.
The striker, who has a history with clubs like Sparta Rotterdam, Heracles Almelo, FC Groningen, and Willem II, will join countrymen Jordy Tutuarima and Justin Mathieu at FC Noah, both of whom previously made the move from the Netherlands to Armenia.
