Players in the Premier League must watch their behavior more closely starting from the upcoming season. The FA has announced that referees will take stricter actions against misconduct.

The new rules dictate that players are not allowed to confront the officiating staff. Getting too close to or making physical contact with the match officials is prohibited. If two or more players intimidate a (assistant) referee in any way, they will be shown a yellow card and reported to the FA.
Off the pitch
New rules also apply off the pitch, aimed at addressing supporter behavior. Last season, there were incidents of chants about stadium disasters and fatal accidents involving players or fans. Additionally, a Manchester United fan wore a derogatory shirt related to the Hillsborough tragedy before the FA Cup final against Manchester City.
For supporters displaying 'negative behavior' on matchdays, a pilot project will be launched. The goal is to educate troublemakers about the impact of their actions on other attendees of Premier League matches.
