According to French journalist Loïc Tanzi from L'Équipe, it is not a done deal that Xavi Simons will make the move to RB Leipzig via Paris Saint-Germain. According to him, Manchester United under Erik ten Hag is a "serious contender" to temporarily acquire the twenty-year-old midfielder from Paris Saint-Germain.
RB Leipzig may indeed be in pole position to loan Simons from Paris Saint-Germain, but according to Tanzi, there are other interested parties as well. Manchester United is one of the clubs reportedly hoping for the arrival of the midfielder, who is on the verge of leaving PSV for six million euros.
